Through the Group’s extensive presence in the ship repairing industry, it has diversified and expanded over the years to the Offshore Industry. Cyprus’s geographical location at the crossroads of three continents enabled it to support movement around both Cyprus and Egypt. Its experienced dedicated management, work as a team enjoying the challenging industry.
Our facilities in both Cyprus and Egypt support the mobilization and demobilization of Offshore Support Vessels in the region fullfilling all their needs such as onshore fabrications, executing all in a time conscious cost efficient manner with all safety precautions and awareness and training in place. Other works include Special Surveys, Intermediate Surveys, major conversions, accommodation module fabrications and crane pedestal installations. Some clients include Allseas, Maridive & Oil Services, Tidewater Marine, Maersk, BOA, Rubicon and Transocean.
Oil Rig modifications and repairs in the region, are also executed such as Transocean’s Oil Rig “Key Singapore.” Last year in 2008, a major construction of two 500 ton Cofferdams were built in our Cyprus facilities, in order for us to repair their oil rig later in our Alexandria facilities. The successful two phase project led our Group into the heart of the challenge. The two cofferdams were proclaimed the largest cofferdams ever built in the world.
